I have so much to be thankful for. My family, my friends, my travels, my experiences, my hobbies. I am so so so thankful on this special day.
I find it extra meaningful that I made a formal decision on Thanksgiving. After singing long into the night with good friends, I came back, got on my computer, and signed a very important piece of paper.
I drove to San Mateo for a delicious lunch at ABC with my boyfriend, his mommy, and his sister. Afterwards, K & I drove to SF to do some exploring. 🙂
After the most delicious dinner EVER, we all sat back food coma-ed on the couch and watched 127 Hours. Intense, intense movie that didn’t quite sit well with all the mac-and-cheese and mashed potatos in my tummy. But James Franco was brilliant.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
On my day off, Mr. Potatohead came with his Black Stallion and swooped me off to Pacifica….our venue of the night was his basement. Entertainment of the night? Kinect. And ourselves.
Armed with our Nike Fuel Bands, we ‘danced’ the night away. Funnest night of ‘fat-burning’ ever! 🙂
Note my sexy fit flops. Definitely most appropriate biking gear ever. I even had to borrow K’s shorts since I only had dresses with me. Epic biking fail.
Good thing our fun Costco excursion made up for it. And linner with K & his parents at Jack’s. Delisshhh.
Last Sunday of my PTO week. Tomorrow is my first day at my new location, in my new sales manager role. Fingers crossed!
First official day of vacation after an epic weekend. Dinner with my wifey Angela in the City, followed by an epic girls movie marathon at the Metreon with my lovers Lolah & Amoo. I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off my week of relaxation!
After a long dinner catching up, Angela and I walked through the Fi Di posing as concubines from this historical Chinese drama we have both recently become obsessed with. Its good to know that even though its been ages since we last met, we can still pick up where we left off and act completely ridiculous like old times.
I rushed to the Metreon to meet Lolah & Amoo for our mini movie marathon. First up was Paranormal Activity 4. First thought – AHHHHH!!! Second thought: wait, really? The movie seemed promising as the intensity built up, but the ending was just a big W.T.F moment for almost everyone in the audience. All of us were probably thinking the same thing – wait really? Did I pay 12 dollars to see this? All I can say is, Paranormal Activity 1 pulled it off by being refreshing. By this 4th installment, it seems like they have really run out of things to make spooky. The ending was abrupt, terribly ridiculous, and extremely anticlimactic. I would not recommend this movie.
The next movie we saw (for me, the second time) was Wreck-it Ralph. What an interesting juxtaposition. I loved it even more the second time around. It is seriously the most interesting, creative, fun, original and well-executed animation I have seen in a long long time. Its perfect for anyone, regardless of age, gender or movie preference. We came out feeling like little girls again.
What a happy Monday!
I woke up to the golden rays of the sun peeking in through the blinds. Already a signal that today would be a good day.
First up, a casual brunch with K’s godmother and family at the beautiful Beach Chalet. We dined and sipped lemonade while admiring the gorgeous Ocean Beach in rare sunlight.
After an afternoon strolling through Stonestown Mall admiring the Apple Mini (and apparently walking into the Apple Store glass wall while texting), we headed to Purple Kow to send off my dear friend Chris before he heads off to South Korea on Monday.
My vacation just started, but its been glorious!
Gary Danko, the epitome of San Francisco fine dining grandeur. Today, I had the honor of enjoying the ultimate Gary Danko experience. The service was impeccable. The decor was exquisite. The food was orgasmic.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Above are five thousand. Happy Birthday Auntie Amy, and I feel honored to have been one of your guests.
