Today, I received a phone call. It was pretty much the best phone call of my life. Doesn’t matter that I was scurrying around work with three phones (the executive in charge phone, my corporate phone, and my personal cell) getting terrible reception. When I got that call, I felt like everything was worth it. All of my highs and lows, struggles and letdowns….I’ve finally accomplished my goal for the past few years.
It must be my good luck charm Aaron, who took time out of his busy schedule in Beijing to catch up. 😉
I flew through the rest of the day, and celebrated with my mommy over dinner at Chen Ma Ma’s. Then, I headed to my favorite place for release – Music Tunnel KTV, with some of my favorite people to sing with. Alan, Jason, John, Elex, Kyle, and my roommate Annie :). I’d have to say tonight was one of my funnest K-sessions yet!
Happiest Day Ever.
Despite working through the weekend, I was in high spirits. Highlights of my nights are always my food journeys with the boyfriend.
Stuffing our faces = #1 Hobby of the Potatoheads. Teehee 🙂
Today was wonderful. I had a great lunch with a new friend I met through my old coworker, and our conversation was quite inspiring.
Of course, the highlight of the day was my date with Amoo and her adorable cheeks.
We started at Adobe and moved quickly to SJ Omogari Korean Restaurant. It was DELICIOUS, and very decently priced. The meat-jun was a very unique, sweet-ish meat dish. Our clay pot soup was also tasty. Oh man, how I’ve missed Korean food and the yummy side dishes! The restaurant had a very homey feel, and provided us with complimentary green tea ice cream.
Next stop: Cafe Lattea, followed with a tour of Cupertino and Downtown Saratoga. We moved to Paris Baguette to nab some half off delicious pastries, check out Snow Ice. Then, I took Amoo for a tour of my cozy home nest 🙂
Time flew, and it was time for our last stop: Tea Era in Mountain View. So many good NetAppo memories – boba runs and happy hours and Castro Street shenanigans!
I returned home to a package from UC Berkeley. 6 months after my graduation, I have finally received my college diploma. Better late than never 🙂
Note my sexy fit flops. Definitely most appropriate biking gear ever. I even had to borrow K’s shorts since I only had dresses with me. Epic biking fail.
Good thing our fun Costco excursion made up for it. And linner with K & his parents at Jack’s. Delisshhh.
Last Sunday of my PTO week. Tomorrow is my first day at my new location, in my new sales manager role. Fingers crossed!
