Carrying A Load.

Its not the load that breaks you down. It’s the way you carry it.

– C.S. Lewis

I’ve been looking back on my past posts, both public and private. For a long while now, I’ve kept it very light and surface-level. I’ve focused on chronicling memorable activities in my day for the primary purpose that I can go back one day and remember what I did on say…October 17th, 2012. or March 30th. When I complete my project 365, that will be what matters most. Capturing moments, big and small, on ‘paper’.

But for the time being, perhaps its time to be more open through this platform. As I read through various posts dating from August until Present, I could sense it. A load was building up. Stress, as a byproduct of growth. Uncertainty, excitement, regret, happiness, emptiness, and even to an extent, self-loathing. It was kept in check with colorful pictures, light and cheery captions, and subtle diction.

Its still building up, and I’m starting to really feel that strain. Maybe its time to reevaluate how I carry it.
